The part on convection machines was intriguing, as I never heard about those before.
Know what brought the thought of a bread machine to my mind today? We live in a small rural town that has small stores in it. They are “Mom & Pop stores”, so they do have to raise prices somewhat & I understand that. Well, anyway, I stopped in one today, to buy a brand name loaf of bread, and nearly choked at the price. (There was no time to turn around & go back & get bread from one of the other 2 stores that have bread). The price of that loaf of white bread? It was $3.79!! Come on now, that’s just outrageous !
I’m not that unfamiliar with bread machines. Have had 2 so far. One died out; that one was a West Bend, & I loved it. Had it 4 or 5 years. The 2nd on was an Oster. I’m sorry to say it was a real lemon. No matter how I tried, it never made a decent loaf of bread for me. And, the Customer Service department wasn’t of any help at all, so I gave up. (Yes, the flour & yeast were both fresh).
Wish me luck…..I’m going to go for # 3 soon.
