Who is this Farberware French Door Air Fry Toaster Oven for?
If you’re planning on buying a toaster oven air fryer, that means one or two things…
You want to save kitchen space.
A separate toaster oven and air fryer might take up too much space for you (especially considering the size of some of these appliances).
You want cooking to be quicker, easier, and more convenient.
It’s too hassle to use the oven or a toaster oven for something… It takes too long to preheat… I want to be able to cook food in less time…
If these are your reasons, then the Farberware just might be for you!
It saves you even more space because it’s a toaster, oven, microwave, and air fryer all in one. Of course, that makes it a lot quicker and easier, and more convenient as well.
Think fries, casseroles, roast chicken, steak, pizza, cake, and a whole lot more…
All done in one appliance – the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven.
This Farberware is also perfect for health-conscious people that still want to enjoy fried goods. All thanks to the air fryer aspect of it.
What’s an air fryer?
An air fryer is basically a convection oven toaster – yes, I know that makes no sense.
An air fryer has the same function as a convection oven. It’s a small area that is superheated and then the hot air is circulated by various fans.
This means that a regular-looking toaster oven like this Farberware one can heat and cook food very quickly in much less time than a traditional oven or even in less time than a traditional toaster oven.
What’s more, you can get this appliance for an affordable price!
Does this sound like something you’re looking for?

Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven Features
Now for the appliance itself.
Since this Farberware Toaster Oven Air Fryer is an all-in-one kitchen appliance, you can be sure that it’s stacked with features.
Features such as:
- 7 functions
- Pre-programmed settings
- Time/temperature
- Easy dial
- Digital display
- Auto shut-off
Now that’s a lot.
Let’s take a close look at each one.
7 Functions
The 7 functions – air fry, toast, bake, broil, convection broil, convection bake, and warm – ensure you can cook anything!
The air fry mode uses the upper heating elements only. So make sure you place the basket on the upper rail position when air frying.
In the toast mode, you’re given the option to select from 7 crust shades as well as 6 bread slices.
Once you select your crust shade and the number of bread slices, the timer automatically sets up for you.
The bake and broil mode have different temperature/timer ranges that you can choose from.
As for the convection bake and convection broil, it turns on the air fryer fan to better circulate the hot air.
Then, the warm mode.
This allows you to keep your food warm while you attend to other things first.
With this, you never have to reheat it again and again.
To select the different functions, turn the “function” knob and it’ll display on the screen.
Check out this video showing you the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven’s functions:
Pre-Programmed Settings
This Air Fryer Toaster Oven doesn’t leave you on your own.
No, they help you with some of the basic cooking settings.
If you look to the side, you’ll find a food list with its recommended temperature and time.
Say, you want to make pizza or cook a whole chicken. You no longer need to research (or do trial and error). You’re already given the temperature and time needed for it.
You get 7 pre-programmed settings – fries, whole chicken, pizza, steak, fish sticks, toast, and even cake.
There’s no more guesswork involved with these delicious dishes.
Time/Temperature
You might have noticed that there are 2 timer/temperatures – one a button, the other a dial.
The button is for switching between the timer and the temperature. While the dial is for increasing or decreasing the time or temperature.
For each function, the max time and temperature differ.
Check out this table showing you the min/max time and temperature for each function:
- Function – Timer – Temperature
- Air Fry – 1-45 mins – 150°F to 400°F
- Toast – Depending on crust shade and number of bread slices – Set at 450°F
- Bake -1-90 mins – 150°F to 425°F
- Broil – 1-30 mins – 150°F to 400°F
- Bake – 1-30 mins – 150°F to 400°F
- Broil – 1-90 mins – 150°F to 425°F
- Warm – 1-120 mins – Set at 150°F
Easy Dial
You might not think much of the dials.
But they actually make it a lot quicker to switch between function, time, or temperature.
Imagine if you used a button. You’ll have to press it 30 times to reach 30 minutes.
With the dial, however, you can do a quick turn to reach your desired function, time, or temperature sooner.
This Farberware Toaster Oven is super easy to use and absolutely convenient.
Digital Display
Most toaster ovens (or air fryers) don’t come with displays.
This is such a bummer if the dial labels fade. You won’t know which is which anymore, which can make a toaster oven extremely difficult to use.
Thankfully, the Farberware is not one of those toaster oven air fryers!
You get a digital display with this Air Fryer Toaster Oven. That way, you can always get the right time/temperature with every use.
Even better, the display lights up.
You won’t have to stoop down to see the screen. And, you’ll be able to see it clearly even in the dark.
Again, it might not seem like much. But it’ll make your life so much easier.
Auto Shut Off
When you’re out, do you ever worry that you might have forgotten to turn off a kitchen appliance?
This is all too common.
That’s why Farberware included a safety feature in this air fryer toaster oven.
Once the timer runs out, it’ll automatically shut off the oven, whether it’s in use or not.
If you forget to turn off the oven before you leave, you can be assured that it’ll turn itself off for you.
There’s nothing like a versatile kitchen appliance that gives you a little peace of mind.
The Pros, Cons, and Reviews of the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven
For this section, we’ll tell you what reviewers thought of the air fryer oven.
We’ll discuss what users like about it (the pros) and what other uses didn’t like about it (the cons).
With this, you’ll get an even better idea if it’s the right air frying toaster oven for you.
So let’s begin with the pros…
The Pros
Aside from all the great features, the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven offers a lot more.
For one, this toaster oven air fryer is a compact appliance.
The dimensions (L: 17.5″ W: 15.98″ H: 12.76) are rather small, yet you’ll still be able to cook a whole chicken inside.
Not only that, its stainless steel material gives this air fryer an attractive look. It won’t cause a sore eye in your kitchen counters.
Stainless steel also means that it’s easy to clean. So you can just wipe off any grease or food particles that get stuck on it.
What’s more, it has 6 heating elements.
With 4 upper ones and 2 lower ones, this Farberware will air fry your food quickly with little to no preheating. Imagine how much faster it’ll be to get your food ready!
And, of course, there’s the fact that it’s a healthy cooking method.
You can enjoy french fries without the guilt of all the fatty oil in it.
It’s very easy to clean, too!
The freebies are all dishwasher safe, while the Farberware itself boasts no oil, no splatter, no mess. You can simply wipe it clean (remember, stainless steel!).
But the best of all is that it’s a bang for the buck!
The Cons
As expected, this air frying toaster oven is not perfect. It comes with its downsides as well.
As we read the reviews, we’ve noticed 3 concurring complaints.
The first one is bad insulation.
As the toaster oven heats up, the exterior follows suit. Pretty soon, it’ll be too hot to touch even the dials.
A few users even said it heated the whole kitchen.
Just make sure you’re careful!
Another complaint is that there’s no interior light.
You’ll have to open the lid every time you want to check on the food. Remember though, if you do this too often, a lot of the heat escapes and therefore it won’t cook your food properly. But that is the case with any toaster oven or other appliance that you can open while you use it.
The third complaint was that it needs a bit of a learning curve.
Then again, so do a lot of other kitchen appliances. No matter what kitchen appliance you’re learning to use, there’ll be a learning curve. Want to make french fries? It’ll take some time to get it right!
It just takes time to properly learn to use an appliance, especially if you’ve never used a toaster oven to fry with air before!
So these were the 3 main complaints to the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven.
Conclusion
Should you get the Farberware Air Fryer Toaster Oven?
You’re the only one who can answer that.
This Farberware is an easy to use, top of the line air frying toaster oven that is a beautiful stainless steel, is easy to clean, and has many different types of functions. You’ll use this all the time and really like the food that comes out of it.
With this review, we hope we’ve helped you make your decision.
