Best Gluten Free Bread Machine Recipes
Here are some of our favorite original and unique Bread Machine recipes. These are all original Easy Kitchen Appliances recipes that have been developed and tested in-house and will give you delicious fresh bread. Feel free to share them!
Paleo Zucchini Bread
Bake bread with ease using this delicious recipe for Paleo-friendly bread. All the ingredients should be available in your local grocery store.
You can mix in chocolate chips, brown sugar, or cocoa powder if you want to add some additional sweetness to the recipe. However, it won’t be Paleo then.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 2 hours
Servings: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 cup grated zucchini
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk almond flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- Squeeze the zucchini to remove excess liquid.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs, honey, banana, and coconut oil.
- Fold the liquid ingredients into the dry ones and add zucchini.
- Stir until combined.
- Transfer the ingredients into the bread pan.
- Select Quick Bread/Cake style. Press Start.
- After 4 minutes, scrape down the sides of the bread pan and stir gently.
- Allow cooking cycle to continue. Once the cooking cycle is done, remove the bread and allow to cool.
- Slice and serve.
Eggless Banana Bread with Seeds and Nuts
This is a great recipe to use if you’re baking for someone who can’t eat eggs.
You can substitute all-purpose flour or regular flour, mix in chocolate chips for sweetness, or remove the nuts if there are allergies.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 50 minutes
Servings: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- maple sugar
- 1 ¼ cups whole-wheat flour
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 3 teaspoons Ceylon cinnamon
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
Topping:
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
- 2 teaspoons flax seeds
Instructions:
- Select Dough setting and press the start button.
- Combine all ingredients in a bread pan.
- Mix with a rubber spatula for 5 minutes.
- Press Stop and select the Cake option.
- Sprinkle the banana bread with pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and flax seeds.
- Press the Start button again. Once the bake cycle is done, insert a toothpick. If there are any residues, reset the bread machine on Cake setting and bake the bread for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the bread machine and cool on a wire rack.
- Slice your banana bread and serve.
Whole Grain Bread
This is a simple and straightforward recipe for whole-grain bread for your bread machine.
You can substitute out the coconut oil for butter. It might improve the taste and make your dough easier to knead.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 55 minutes
Servings: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ½ cup all-purpose flour or bread flour
- ½ cup flax seeds
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup seven-grain cereal
- ¼ cup maple sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients into the pan.
- Select White bread or Wheat bread – if the bread machine supports that option.
- Press Start.
- Once the cooking cycle is done, remove the bread and pan and place on a wire rack.
- Cool the wheat bread 20 minutes before removing it from the pan.
- Slice your homemade bread and serve.
Paleo Bread with Seeds
This is a simple recipe for delicious Paleo bread. Because it’s Paleo, no butter, baking powder, or sugar is allowed.
However, it’s still a great recipe and pretty simple to bake in your bread machine.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour
Servings: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds
- 1 cup water
- 3 medium eggs, room temperature
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
- 2 cups almond flour
- ¾ cup sifted coconut flour
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup flax meal
- 1 cup tapioca flour
- ¼ cup arrowroot flour
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Instructions:
- Combine chia seeds, flax seeds, and water in a bowl. Place aside.
- Whisk eggs, coconut oil, almond milk, and maple syrup in a large bowl.
- Add the chia seeds mixture.
- Gradually, stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Transfer the mixture into a bread machine pan.
- Select Whole Grain bread – 2lb. loaf.
- Press Start.
- Once the cooking cycle is done, remove the bread from the bread machine and place it onto a wire rack.
- Cool for 30 minutes.
- Remove the bread from the bread machine pan, slice, and serve.

There are a lot of other foods that you can make in your bread machine. Not just the traditional idea of grabbing your bread flour and making homemade bread, but really unique foods that are totally different than the typical bread machine recipe. Here they are!
Making Jam in a bread maker
Did you know you can use your bread machine to make jam? This is actually one of the easier recipes to make because almost every bread machine comes with a jam setting that makes this a very simple process.
Below is a very simple recipe for making delicious jam in your bread machine.
Ingredients:
- Fresh or frozen fruit
- Sugar and a pinch of salt
- Thickening agent
- Food processor
Instructions:
Wash whatever fruit you’ve selected and put it into a food processor.
Add salt and some granulated sugar along with a thickening agent like pectin or gelatin.
Pour the processed food onto the bread machine pan and select the jam setting.
When your bread machine completes it, let it cool before transferring it to glass jars.
Making homemade jam with a bread machine is super easy. And although it may take a while to perfect a recipe, you can perfect it over time and come up with the best recipe for your bread machine.
Making Rice Pudding in a bread maker
This one is one of my favorites, so I think it’s kind of crazy that you can make rice pudding in a bread machine!
Ginny’s has a very basic recipe to follow for this.
Basically, it involves eggs, milk, cooked rice, sugar, and cinnamon.
It uses the jam setting in the bread machine to heat up and mix the ingredients.
Most bread machines have a jam setting, which means that an entirely new world of foods is open to you.
Making rice in a bread maker
Of course you would be able to make rice, right? Since a bread machine is basically an oven that can heat and mix, rice dishes would be simple to make.
So don’t worry, don’t buy that rice cooker!

Making Pizza Dough or Pasta in a bread maker
Did you know you can use your bread machine to make pizza and pasta? Well, not exactly pizzas and pasta, but the dough for them.
That’s right! This is actually a very common bread machine recipe. You can use your bread machine to make pizza dough.
Almost all bread machines come with a special setting called the dough cycle.
This special setting means that you can take all of the ingredients in dough, put them in the bread machine, and have them kneaded and mixed.
Once it’s done, you take the dough out and then either form it into a pizza or begin making pasta.
Basically, the bread machine handles the kneading and rising, saving you a considerable amount of work.
What other things can you make in a bread machine?
A bread machine is such a handy kitchen appliance. It can do all the mixing, kneading, rising, and heating for you that you’re not limited to typical bread machine recipes.
